FCA policy development update

FCA policy development update

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published its policy development update which contains a timetable of forthcoming publications, including:

  • In September 2013
    a policy statement on “Client Assets Reviews (includes consultation on EMIR indirect client clearing)”; and
    a consultation paper on “Review of the client money rules for insurance intermediaries and feedback to CP12/20”;
  • In December 2013
    a policy statement on “Mortgage Market Review – Data Reporting”; and
    a policy statement on “CRD IV for Investment Firms” (CP13/6);
  • In Q2 2014
    a policy statement on “Transposition of Solvency II – Part 2” (CP12/13);
  • In Q3/4 2014
    a policy statement on “Solvency II and linked long-term insurance business” (CP11/23); and
    a policy statement on “Transposition of Solvency II – Part 1” (CP11/22)
