Bank of America renews Vital contract

Vital Processing Services (Vital), a leader in merchant and acquirer transaction processing solutions, announced today that it has renewed its merchant processing service agreement with Bank of America N.A.

Bank of America merchant services (BA Merchant Services) is the second largest bankcard merchant acquirer in the United States. The agreement continues the longterm relationship between the two companies, with Vital providing full service transaction processing and related support services. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"We are committed to helping BA Merchant Services achieve even stronger growth and success."

Vital's parent company, TSYS, also provides issuer processing services for Bank of America's consumer and commercial credit card accounts.
