A newly-created North East based performance marketing agency has announced a new partnership with a major national finance body.
Newcastle-based The Digital Lighthouse, which was founded by paid digital specialist Tom Chandler in mid-2024, is partnering with the Financial Services Forum as an official training partner to the Forum’s 3000-strong membership body.
The Forum is made up of industry leaders and marketing professionals specifically operating in the financial services industry and offers them up to 60 events annually, which include seminars, conferences and training. It counts individuals from the likes of Lloyd’s Banking Group, AXA and abrdn among its membership.
The four-part Digital Skills Workshop, running between March and June, will cover foundation level performance marketing basics, through to masterminding strategy and innovation in paid performance, and will delve into emerging trends, how to leverage the best tools, aligning ROI with business objectives and future proofing marketing strategies.
Tom said: “We’re really thrilled to be partnering the Financial Services Forum to help deliver a dedicated training and workshop programme about how marketers in finance can better serve their teams and clients with paid digital strategies.
“Financial marketing is a justifiably nuanced and heavily regulated subject matter, and marketers in the industry need to know they’re staying on the right side of compliance, while also seeking better, more effective and more resourceful ways of digitally reaching the most relevant audiences online, whether that be via search activity or through social media platforms.”
David Cowan, Managing Director at the Financial Services Forum said: “Our membership is made up of the brightest and best established leaders and marketing professionals in financial services. They have a constant need to stay ahead of the game when it comes to reaching and engaging with their audiences in a digital capacity. We’ve worked with Tom over an extended period, so it made perfect sense for us to establish a long-term partnership with him and his new operations at The Digital Lighthouse.
“He and his team always come ready to share latest trends and prepare our membership with easy-to-understand tips and advice on how they can easily and effectively deploy new paid strategies within their own operations or with their financial services clients. We’re thrilled to have The Digital Lighthouse on our side.”
Having only launched in April last year, The Digital Lighthouse has already employed six full time staff and, as well as the Financial Services Forum, include the likes of chartered wealth managers, Fairstone, skin care specialists Nursem and estate agents solutions provider, iamproperty among its client base and has recently moved into new office space on Newcastle-Upon-Tyne’s Quayside.
The training programme with The Financial Services Forum is open to members and non members alike.
