ING Direct has implemented the Rhythmyx Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system from Massachusetts-based Percussion Software to speed up content delivery across multi-lingual online channels at its Canadian operations.
ING Direct says Rhythmyx ECM provides a platform for improved management of rapidly changing, multi-lingual content and helps the bank to better utilise IT resources.
Steve Bos, the bank's senior programmer adds that the platform puts production into the hands of the business users responsible for the content.
"Our business users can create content, adjust it, re-use it, have it approved, and once it is signed off, out it goes. Our manual process used to take up to three days - with Rhythmyx, it will be a matter of hours," says Bos.
In addition, ING Direct will install the Rhythmyx Word Connector, which allows Microsoft Word users to import content into the system.
