The software product, supporting credit, debit, micropayment, pre- and post paid accounts, allows consumers to store their preferred payment and billing information in a centralised server-based wallet, says the company. In addition, personal preference information such as clothing sizes and frequent flier numbers can be entered.

The software works with all cellular phone protocols such as GSM, CDMA, TDMA, as well as with wireless PDA devices such as Palm and Handspring and offers full integration with Brokat's Twister banking platform.

T-Motion, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, is currently implementing the Mobile Wallet solution for a pending release to its European subscriber base.
