Olympic will provide BSCT with a single multi-currency platform to process all banking transactions. The system also integrates external transactions from Bancomats, Postomats and Tancomats, EuroSic and Swift, among others.

BSCT has also launched a new version of its e-banking service SelfNet, using the Oly-Web module from the Olympic package.

As part of the implementation, ERI has developed real time interfaces between Olpympic and Reuters' Kondor+ product, which the bank is using for its treasury transactions, and Apia's ABS system which is used to process branch-based cash transactions. The interfaces were developed using the Tibco application bus.

The bank also plans to deploy Olympic's Oly-Pam module for automated analysis and management of portfolios in the second phase of the implementation.

ERI says its Olympic Banking System currently claims 20% local market share in Switzerland.
