EDS has announced new and renewed IT contracts with Banca Antonveneta in Italy, South African life assurer Sage Life and the UK Post Office.
The new seven-year contract with Banca Antonveneta is for the supply of business continuity services through a fibre optic connection between the bank's infrastructure and EDS Data Centres.
The vendor has also announced a three-year contract extension with Sage Life for midrange hosting and applications development services- extending the current contract until 2010 - and a new five-year contract with the UK Post Office to provide cheque and TV license processing services.
