Nordea Bank in Norway has signed a three-year contract, worth NKr24 million, with EDB Business Partner for the development and supply of card management and processing systems.
EDB Fellesdata, a subsidiary of EDB Business Partner will develop and deliver the new card processing systems for Nordea, and EDB Teamco will supply the related IT operating services.
Per Vorum, assistant general manager, Nordea, says: "These systems will help the bank to consolidate its card activities and improve their efficiency, and will also pave the way for implementing new domestic and international standards for cards and payments services."
