Stockholm-based SEB Asset Management has upgraded to the latest version of Trema's flagship product Finance Kit to improve its position, performance and limit monitoring.
Finance Kit automates the entire investment process from order management to general ledger and the latest release includes new functions for asset managers.
The package includes a static data framework that will provide the firm with enhanced support for instruments, corporate actions and benchmark data. Finance Kit's NAV monitor, order management and portfolio modelling functions also enable fund managers to view their portfolios in real-time with automated calculations of derivative adjusted exposures.
The upgrade project was mainly carried out inhouse. Torbjorn Pejer, system manager, SEB Asset Management, says: "We have been able to build internal competency within SEB Asset Management, allowing us to utilise many of our own resources on system enhancements."
The firm has been using Trema's technology since 1997.
