SunGard subsidiary Front Capital Systems has appointed Pam Pecs Cytron to the newly-created position of managing director, Americas.
The appointment follows the merger of SunGard Trading and Risk Systems' global markets division with Front Capital in January which saw the combining of the vendor's Global Trader and Treasury Trader systems under the Front Arena brand.
In her new role, Cytron will be responsible for driving sales of the new Front Arena package across North and South America, as well as overseeing the unit's operations and developing business in the areas of interest rate and credit derivatives, fixed income and FX. She will be report directly to Stephen Butcher, head of global operations.
Cytron was previously executive vice president at Netik. She was also head of sales for SunGard Investment Management Systems in North America and rejoins the firm after a break of three years.
