Building upon the existing IBM and SunGard business alliance, Front Capital will integrate its Front Arena trading and risk management solution with IBM's WebSphere software running on the IBM eServer xSeries system on Linux.

Under the agreement, IBM Global Services will support clients by providing system integration and application management services. Front Captial will also incorporate IBM's hardware configuration recommendations into its technical workshops and presentations.

Aviv Orani, IBM's chief architect for the IBM-SunGard alliance, says: "Expanding our alliance with SunGard to include the Front Arena products will provide our customers with an advanced, Linux-based solution to help reduce costs and enhance operations."
