Reuters has unveiled Multex On-Demand, its next generation information delivery system for investment research professionals.
Multex On-Demand has been redesigned to provide investment bankers, corporate executives and corporate librarians with a single source for diverse and in-depth global investment research from over 900 brokerage firms, investment banks, market research houses and independent research providers.
The product includes a categorisation feature which allows users to search and locate reports by category, subject, purpose and type of analysis, while 'saved searches' enables users to share results with others and receive e-mail alerts when new documents become available.
Users may track and retrieve all relevant research on a particular company, irrespective of the local ticker, vendor symbol, or cross reference code, and data can also be pinpointed using extensive indexes provided including company, source, geography, industry classification, text expressions or date.
The redesigned product now also includes a shopping cart which can be used to collect documents from a repository and to assign billing codes to transactions for expense tracking. In addition, an enhanced expense reporting system has been created to enable users to review purchase history and manage costs.
