Thomson Financial is to integrate New York-based Alacra's public information book (PIB) building software, Alacra Book, with its Thomson One Banker platform.
Alacra Book is a Web-based publishing application that facilitates the collection and packaging of business information from multiple sources into a single PDF document.
Users will be able to choose Alacra Book as an add-on workflow tool to build custom PIBs from third party and proprietary sources.
Thomson says the combined content and technologies of Alacra Book and One Banker will eliminate the hours of researching and formatting required to produce the PIBs that investment banks use for detailed analysis of a target company.
Steven Goldstein, CEO of Alacra, says: "Delivering Alacra Book via Thomson One Banker will help us reach a broader audience."
The solution is expected to be integrated into Thomson One Banker early in the third quarter.
Seperately, Thomson Financial has launched InSite, an offering that extends corporate visibility by enabling companies to place Investor Relations (IR) microsites on Yahoo! Finance.
