UK-based Global Insight Group, a provider of technical consultancy services for financial firms, has appointed Robin Bearne as director of its new migration services division which supports the business and technical migration of issuers and acquirers of card payments.
During a 20-year career at Lloyds TSB, Bearne was heavily involved in the outsourcing of the TSB card portfolio and later acted as programme manager for the migration of the Goldfish card portfolio from Household Financial Corp.
Global Insight Group says the dramatic increase in the sale and acquisition of payment card portfolios on an international basis has required it to create a dedicated conversion/migration service division.
