Global Insight Group, a UK-based provider of technical consultancy services for financial firms, has appointed Doug Tuson as executive director of its new process improvement division, established to support issuers and acquirers of smart card payments.
Global Insight Group says a dramatic increase in planning and implementation towards EMV compliance has led to it increasing the number of senior executives.
Tuson has previously held roles at The Joint Credit Card Company, Lloyds and First Data Corp. He was also involved in the initial chip workshops at industry level.
