Aconite, a UK business IT consultancy and software solutions provider specialising in EMV, smart cards and security, has appointed Chris Black as business development manager to help drive the company's international growth ambitions.
A member of the Barclaycard team that pioneered the UK's first point-of-sale service, PDQ, Black spent seven years in the IT industry implementing major projects and supporting one of the largest on-line transaction processing systems in the world.
He then embarked upon a sales career with ACI Worldwide, before joining Nomad Software as sales director in 2000.
