Dresdner Bank has signed a new five year outsourcing contract with First Data to deliver consumer credit card processing services to its customers in Germany.
First data has been supplying the bank with card processing services since 1999.
Marcus Mosen, managing director of Germany operations, First Data, says the new deal demonstrates that outsourcing can be successful across national boundaries.
"We expect an increase in this trend as the market moves toward a single European payment area," he adds.
