California's Valicert has entered a reseller agreement with Norwegian IT security software firm Protect Data to distribute its products to financial institutions in the Nordic region.
Under the agreement, Protect Data will market and distribute Valicert's software, including SecureTransport, Document Authority and Validation Authority, to its corporate and financial services clients in Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
Frank Horntvedt, president of protect data, Norway, says: "We want to offer a more solution-oriented approach to our existing customers, and broaden our portfolio of high-end security clients across the finance and telecoms markets."
He says that the Valicert portfolio will be an invaluable add-on to financial institutions, furthering the drive to a more secure, paperless environment.
