California-based e-security vendor ValiCert is to package Momentum Systems' B2B file communications software, Intelligent Network Gateway, with its data transfer and authentication product, SecureTransport.
Under the reseller agreement, Valicert will ship the joint solution which automates, secures and simplifies the exchange of data over the Internet and private IP networks.
Valicert says a workflow manager application will initiate, track and manage file transfers, processing and scheduling events within the gateway from the SecureTransport system.
David Jevans, senior vice president, marketing and corporate development, Valicert, says firms are demanding secure communications products that can manage a multitude of network protocols within a single enterprise solution.
"With Momentum Systems' gateway software, we are able to offer an even more competitive and comprehensive suite of solutions to enterprises wishing to automate critical business processes over the Internet and within their internal networks," adds Jevans.
Both companies will continue to support their respective products.
