Under a multi million pound contract, Fiserv will supply TD Waterhouse with core banking systems and customer call centre applications.

The vendor will also process TD Waterhouse's accounts at its UK data centre using its International Comprehensive Banking System (ICBS), which will be linked to the bank’s Web applications through an open systems interface.

In addition, Fiserv says its Alliant CRS and Branch Teller solutions will provide the bank with real-time automated payment processing and customer relationship management (CRM).

Philip Ireland, managing director, TD Waterhouse Bank, UK, says: "Our banking services have been developed to meet the needs of our share dealing customers and we are confident that features such as cash machine access, consolidated online statements and instant transfer of funds will be very popular."

Fiserv has supplied solutions to TD Waterhouse in the US since 1994.
