US brokerage Refco has released Refco ProTrader, the front-end dealing system devloped under its joint venture with exchange trading outfit EasyScreen.
Refco EasySolutions was created in July 2001 to provide electronic trading solutions to clients that utilise global exchange traded derivative markets.
Refco ProTrader, a front-end dealing system incorporating trade entry, market monitoring and risk management features, is the first product to emerge from the venture. The browser-based system offers multi-market monitoring and trading via a single screen and full back office integration to provide real-time P&L of entire position.
Philip Docker chairman of UK-based EasyScreen welcomed the announcement: "The rollout of Refco ProTrader has already started the process of generating revenues to the joint venture, part of which will in due course pass through to Easyscreen by way of dividends. This process is expected to gain momentum in the near future."
