Harris Bank is to pilot Metavante's Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Data Mart, an online information tool that will enable the bank to access and analyse debit and ATM card transactions.
The EFT Data Mart is a Q&A tool that can used for reporting and tracking performance of debit and ATM cards and analysing historical trends.
Barbara McStowe, vice president and debit products marketing manager, Harris Bank, says: "In the future, we look forward to using this product to perform extensive analysis on our cardholder spending patterns and analyse our ATM activity, ultimately leveraging the analysis into even more effective marketing initiatives."
In the pilot phase, the bank will generate reports that show all debit and ATM card types as well as transaction volumes.
Frank D'Angelo, executive vice president and general manager, Metavante EFT and card, says the input received from Harris will help guide the ongoing development of the product.
The vendor is demonstrating the product at BAI's Retail Delivery Conference and Expo this week at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
