Smile, the Internet banking arm of the Co-operative Bank, is launching the service with UK online broker Self Trade.
The online bank says the service, called smile invest sharedealing, will enable both experienced and new investors to build an online portfolio.
Customers will be able to deal for £12.50, with no minimum investment and the service includes 24-hour access to portfolios, market news and a free service for converting paper shares.
