The new contract follows on from Diebold's acquisition in April of the ATM business of Bull and Getronics. Credit Lyonnais is a long-term customer of Bull.

Diebold is to supply the French bank with 2OO Ulysee 4 cash machines and 100 Deposit ATMs. The bulk of these machines will be used to renew the installed base of branch office ATMs by the end of the year.

As part of its drive toward off-site banking installations, the bank has also ordered a further 40 indoor cash dispensers (TwinCash), in addition to the 47 other TwinCash dispensers already installed.
