NCR has been named as the "preferred provider" for Credit Card Centre of ATMs to serve the booming convenience sector. The first deal under the agreement is for 50,000 NCR ATMs for deployment at retail outlets and restaurants in the US and Canada.
Andrew Kallok, president of Credit Card Centre, the Philadelphia-headquartered distributor of ATMs, says NCR's worldwide presence will aid the firm as it plots a move into overseas markets.
Credit Card Centre is one of the fastest growing ATM distributors in North America having sold or leased over 5000 ATMs in 1999.
