TSE chooses Percussion for Web content management

The Toronto Stock Exchange is to deploy technology from Percussion Software to manage content across its Web sites, following the recent acquistion of the Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX).

The Exchange says it will implement Percussion's Rhythmiyx Content Manager V4.0 solution as a technological foundation for future iterations of the organisation's Web sites, says the company.

The ability to define content usage and approval processes will be delegated to 20 content authors who can group, arrange and publish content to Web pages, without requiring template redesigns or technical assistance from the Webmaster.

Greg Allen, director of architecture, and chief architect of the TSE, says: "We selected Rhythmyx for its proven ability to enable us to quickly and cost-effectively communicate with all our constituencies - retail investors, listed companies and broker representatives. Now we are prepared to respond to our Web communications needs for the next year and the next decade."
