Shanghai-based Bank of Communication has signed an £11 million deal with NCR Corporation for the roll-out of self-service cash machines across its branch network.
Under the agreement, the bank has purchased NCR's Personas 73, Personas 74, Personas 84 and Personas 86 Self-Service TouchPoints automated teller machines.
In addition to traditional cash dispensing, the new machines offer cash deposit, passbook printing, account inquiries and bill payment facilities.
In August, NCR announced a similar $13 million deal with Bank of China. Other recent deals for the company include ATM orders from Agricultural Bank of China and Men Sheng Bank.
NCR has now opened a new office in Xian and plans to extend its services to the northwestern part of China.
