ING-owned Yolt is a free app that lets some 500,000 registered users in Britain, Italy and France view their bank accounts and credit cards in one place, promising to give them a real view of how much money they have, what shops they're spending it in, and helping them to set budgets.

Yolt for Business will offer a single API that covers account aggregation services and payment initiation services. The firm is also promising an "ambitious future roadmap" as it looks to win over companies by helping them keep on top of their finances.

Leon Muis, chief business officer, Yolt, says: "We will make, manage and maintain all of the connections, saving businesses time and money and allowing them to focus on what matters most."
