Amazon's Alexa can now rattle off stock prices for securities listed on the Spanish continuous market thanks to a new skill developed by Banco Sabadell.
The Spanish bank follows in the footsteps of American titans Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan and TD Ameritrade who have already begun offering market moving news and stock quotes via Amazon's voice-controlled home pods.
The service is a value-added step up from the usual balance and transaction checking voice commands introduced by other banks.
Francesc Fajula de Quintana, alliances director at Banco Sabadell, comments: “Offering this skill in Amazon Alexa allows us to provide users with value added services through new digital voice channels. In this case, through Alexa we are providing even more convenience in terms of consulting the development of companies which are listed in the Spanish continuous market.”
