To show off the new SaxoTrader for iPhone and Android app, Swedish wing suit jumper Martin Rosén carried out a trade whilst jumping just outside of Cape Town, South Africa.

He bought 1,000,000 EURUSD Spot at a price of 1.26969 and the trade was confirmed when he was still in mid-air for the stunt, which is being used for a TV advert.

In a bid to draw tenuous parallels between trading and base jumping, Torben Rene Larsen, head, commercial marketing, Saxo Bank, says that "there is a strong similarity between the mentality of base jumpers and traders. Both need to be in complete control, and both share the absolute confidence in their ability and demand the same from their equipment."
