The MSN Trader service will launch in the UK on Wednesday ahead of a wider European roll out.

According to the Financial Times, it will let investors trade 11,000 shares on 23 exchanges around the world as well as FX options, CFDs, futures, ETFs and bonds.

The platform - which also offers research and analysis tools - will appear on Microsoft's MSN Money site and taps Saxo's WebTrader system.
