US bank Citi has added visual tracking and account analysis tools for US credit card customers to its iPad app.
Citi launched its iPad offering in July, claiming to be the first bank to incorporate personal finance management tools, using graphs and "visual representations" in its app.
An update is now offering the same features to Citi's 20 million credit card customers, enabling them to analyse and plan spending with customisable charts and graphs and compare habits with general consumer data. The revamped app also offers finance content from the bank and lets users reach customer service directly through Twitter.
Tracey Weber, head, Internet and mobile banking, North America consumer banking, Citi, says: "Based on the extremely positive feedback about Citibank for iPad from our bank customers and their extensive use of the app's unique account analysis tools, we set out to offer credit card customers that same advanced access to mobile financial management, and now we have."
