The winner will be paid S$30,000 to join Standard Chartered's Breeze mobile banking team for six months and help run its social media platforms, including the blog and Twitter feed.

To apply, contestants need to follow @StanChartBreeze on Twitter, create a blog post, video or podcast explaining why they should be chosen to become the 'world's coolest intern' and DM the bank with a URL.

Applications close on the 15 October with a top 20 shortlisted based on their digital footprint before this is whittled down to 10 based on a qualitative analysis of online content, including blogs and Twitter pages "to determine the ability to communicate and engage with the digital communities". Finally, the top 10 will be interviewed via SCB HireVue's video job interviewing platform and the winner selected.

The winner - who does not have to be based in Singapore - will then start work as an intern, promoting Breeze through social media channels and working with the marketing manager to manage campaigns and projects. They will also look after the Breeeze blog and Twitter, Flickr and YouTube accounts.

Training will be provided from various social media expert firms and Standard Chartered has also roped in Google to provide technical knowledge and training required in the pre-qualifying stage. Contestants can use AdWords to promote their submissions by using Keyword Search and Display advertising with the first 100 given S$100 vouchers to help promote their application within AdWords.
