Kids money management site launches

Editorial

This content has been selected, created and edited by the Finextra editorial team based upon its relevance and interest to our community.

Developed by Money Management International (MMI), an American nonprofit credit counselling agency, the site features activities for children ages four to seven aimed at providing an educational and engaging way to learn about finance.

The site contains video and audio versions of money management-related stories featuring the" money bunnies". There are also PDFs with text and pictures so children can read along to the stories as well as online and printable colouring pages.

A "grown-ups" section let parents and teachers share ideas and experiences, get tips on talking to their children about money and download lesson plans.

MMI is also tapping Twitter and facebook and has a YouTube channel containing videos of kids talking about money.
