Euronet Worldwide has teamed up with Aether Systems to offer Mobile Finance by Aether, a wireless banking solution promising event messaging, account access, real-time transactions and account activity alerts over a range of handheld consumer devices.
Bank customers deploying the system can receive notification when an account is approaching a minimum balance, deposit confirmation, transfer and withdrawal notifications, credit card limits reached or changing loan rates. Account Access provides users with real-time transactions, such as viewing current balances and mini-statements, reporting lost or stolen credit cards, changing passwords, ordering cheques, or requesting additional statements.
The package is designed to provide financial institutions with a comprehensive, hosted solution that can be operational within 90 days. By integrating a company's information systems with corresponding wireless devices, Euronet and Aether claim to manage every aspect of service deployment.
