Brahim is the former CEO of Ubitrade, which GL Trade acquired in December 2004. He became chief operating officer of GL Trade in 2006.

The Paris-based vendor says Brahim will assume full management responsibility for the group's day-to-day operations.

In addition to his ongoing activities of managing global sales, client support and the group's central services, Brahim will also oversee the company's global product development and marketing teams.

Gatignol will now focus the majority of his attention on major strategic projects and acquisition opportunities. Gatignol will also manage relationships with the investor community and shareholders, says the vendor.

Furthermore, Vincent Burzynski, former director of front to back solutions at GL Trade, will extend his responsibilities to include product development and marketing for all product lines, along with marketing and communications for the group.

GL Trade says Burzynski's brief will be to adapt, improve, and integrate its offerings within all market segments.
