Chicago-based TT says Morgan Stanley's client listed derivatives business will also utilise its hosting ASP service, TTNET, to distribute X_Trader to its customers and internal trading desks globally.

The hosted service accelerates customer access to international futures markets and increases trading platform stability through data centres situated in strategic locations close to the various exchanges, says the vendor.

The TT technology will be integrated with Morgan Stanley's proprietary applications and other third-party systems to provide front-to-back full service for client listed derivatives activities.

Craig Abruzzo, global co-head of client listed derivatives at Morgan Stanley, says: "Our listed derivatives business continues to grow due to our focus on providing the highest quality client service to institutional users of listed derivatives. Offering TT together with our existing electronic trading solutions in order to support this growing client base is an important part of our strategy."
