The 3C group employs about 40 staff and includes a parent company in Luxemburg and subsidiaries in Germany, Sweden, the UK and US. The firm processes around 50 million transactions a year and focuses on hotels and restaurants, parking facilities and e-commerce.

Tele2 says that 3C negatively affected its Ebita by SKr6 million in 2006 and SKr8 million in the first half of 2007.

The latest acquisition follows Telekurs' takeover in February of the cCredit card payments business from Germany's carus Group.

"With the software product cCredit and the range of products and services offered by 3C International, we are now able to offer a customised solution for all internationally active commercial and service enterprises," says Felix Aeschlimann, CEO, Telekurs Card Solutions.
