Linda Schreurs head of team IT development for external connections at Dexia says that the bank is using the opportunities presented by the introduction of Sepa and Target 2 to re-evaluate and renew its gateway infrastructure.

"In cooperation with IBM and Sterci, we already did performance testing and we got the assurance that Stelink can treat the high volumes we will have for Sepa," she adds.

Simon Kalfon, chief executive officer of Sterci, claims the Stelink messaging hub is the only certified product in the world that offers the full range of SwiftNet services access from a single application.
