Visa cardholders, as well as the bank's customers, can now use the banks ATMs to pay for Kingfisher Airline tickets.

Customers wishing to use the service need to initially book ticket using the toll-free number of Kingfisher Airlines. The airline then provides the cardholder with a unique six digit booking reference number. They then have six hours in which to pay for the flight using a Visa credit or debit card at an Andhra Bank ATM.

After selecting the e-ticketing payment option on the ATM customers are required to key in their booking reference. Once the flight is paid for a 'passenger reservation number' is printed on a receipt, which can be exchanged for a boarding card at the airport.

FSS director, Mr Rudhraapathy, says the flight e-ticketing payment service will also be available over PoS terminals and in kiosks in the future.
