The bank contracted with the Swiss vendor in July following a two-year evaluation of 80 different applications.

Juan Rodriguez-Tolentino, president, SIB, comments: "By increasing automation, reporting and STP capabilities, Temenos T24 will also enable us, and hence our clients, to benefit from a reduced time to market for new products, greater reliability through multi-server support and non-stop processing capabilities.”

T24 is a pre-configured version of the vendor's modular software application, which allows for a faster implementation.

At SIB, the system will use IBM Intel processors running Oracle database software and deployed to support over 40,000 client accounts across 127 countries.
