Temenos says the T24 implementation will replace the Midas, Intellimatch, ORFplus, City Dealer and Trade Innovations technologies, in addition to a separate e-banking application.

The vendor says the bank is the second London-based wholesale bank using Misys products to select Temenos T24 in less than eight months.

The T24 system will support universal banking, treasury and payments, lending, and trade finance activities from IBM servers and jBASE database software.

Joe Mensah, CEO, GIB comments: "We needed a system with the flexibility to develop products quickly, integrate with our other applications, and deliver reports according to our needs."

Andreas Andreades, CEO, Temenos, adds: "Our pre-packaged version of Temenos T24 offers a viable alternative to upgrading existing systems and can drive down the total cost of ownership when replacing multiple applications."
