Richard Korhammer, co-founder and chief executive of Lava Trading - Citigroup's trading technology arm - is stepping down at the end of this week.
According to press reports, Korhammer is leaving to spend more time with his family and to pursue personal interests.
He co-founded Lava Trading in 1999 with Kamran Rafieyan and Keith Chutjian. The vendor was bought out by Citigroup in July 2004.
Prior to Lava, Korhammer worked for a financial services consultancy before starting his own management consulting firm.
