The UK's Barclays Bank has appointed UBS's Neil Wilks as senior technology officer for central support.
Wilks was previously global functional head for financial control IT at UBS and was responsible for programme management and the development of all financial control applications.
He joined UBS in 1997, having previously worked at Unisys International Banking Services in several senior IT delivery roles across Europe.
In his new post, Wilks will be responsible for overseeing IT portfolio execution and delivery within the bank's central support unit. He will report to Barclays' chief information officer Don Trotta.
