ING Direct, the telephone and Internet bank operation of Holland's ING, is creating 400 new jobs at its operations in St Cloud, Minnesota.
The bank also plans to expand the facility by 80,000 square feet.
ING Direct will occupy the second, third and fourth floors of a new office building in St Cloud. The facility will also include a cafe on the main floor.
Construction will begin in October 2006 and will take approximately twelve months to complete.
The 400 new jobs will be added over the next three years and will be in IT, sales, deposit processing, loan processing, and administration.
The move will double the number of ING staff working at the facility, which houses an IT department and call centre as well as deposit processing, loan processing and administrative offices.
