Scandinavian banking group Nordea has licensed GoldenSource's Enterprise Data Management technology which it will use to develop a group-wide reference data management system to support its trading, operational and regulatory activities.
The bank will use GoldenSource's EDM platform for the capture of pricing, reference and corporate actions data from multiple market sources and to publish 'golden copy' data in real-time across its trading, operational and regulatory reporting systems.
Peter Lunding, business CIO, Nordea Markets, says: "GoldenSource understands our business requirements and can provide the high-quality reference data management platform we require to enable us to deliver accurate, timely reference data across our organisation."
New York-based GoldenSource says the bank is its first customer in the Nordic region.
