StreetReference aggregates data from multiple systems, allowing firms to develop a centralised data hub which provides users across the enterprise with a consistent and up-to-date view of customer activity.

Franklin Templeton will integrate StreetReference with its existing accounting engine StreetBooks, to form the foundation of a global information data store to support customer record maintenance.

The system will be based on the StreetModel standard for designing and building information architecture.

Jennifer Bolt, chief information officer at Franklin Templeton Investments, says: "The FTI solution will enable us to respond more quickly to our customers and provide them with an increased level of service."
