Plus-Portal.dk is operated by communications company Jøp, Ove & Myrthu and was introduced to enable listed MidCap+ and SmallCap+ companies to present investors with company information via the Internet.

The portal was introduced in Februrary 2004 but only 25 companies have registered to use the service since its launch. CSE says Plus-Portal will shut down by the end of September.

Jan Ovesen, deputy president, CSE, comments: "Plus-Portal.dk has been an essential element in rendering MidCap+ and SmallCap+ more visible and in boosting interest in the two segments among investors, though it has not quite gained the ground and had the penetration power we all had hoped for. It is the right decision to discontinue the activities on the portal."

In October CSE parent company OMX is launching its Nordic list, which comprises of around 600 companies listed on the Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen exchanges.
