Oslo Børs and the Copenhagen Stock Exchange have both deployed real-time data search and filter technology from Norway-based Fast Search & Transfer (Fast) to enable investors to search and retrieve financial information over the Internet.
The exchanges have integrated the Fast Data Search product with Tibco Software's portal application, ActivePorta, to create a real-time solution for retrieving archived and up-to-the-minute data via a search facility on the exchanges' Web sites.
The Fast Data Search suite of enterprise search products provides firms with real-time search technology, business search management tools and information analysis capabilities.
The vendor says the product is ideal for financial institutions as it allows users to search large amounts of constantly changing data from multiple locations.
