The Frankfurt-based vendor says the system will provide pricing methods and instrument coverage based on real-time market data, allowing SEB to calculate a wide range of bond prices.

Jens Kramarczik, head of fixed income trading, SEB, says: "Our goal was to cover e-trading in Jumbo Pfandbriefs, Euro Agencies and Euro Govies with a small but highly effective desk. Consequently, we were looking for a way to automate the pricing and quoting process as much as possible."

Germany-based Orimos says calcuations will be automatically processed, allowing traders to track market movement and enter price parameters, from which quotable prices will instantly be updated.
